Measuring the effectiveness of training/Training effectivity/ROI on training
HR managers are always concerned about measuring the effectiveness of training. They even want to know the ROI on training.
The most repeated question from HR people : Sir, how do I measure the effectiveness of this training?
The simple reply : You can measure the effectiveness of technical sessions from the very next day by seeing reduction in defects/increase in productivity/reduction in breakdowns etc.
However, for behavioral skills sessions, you will need to have patience. Unless or until, you reinforce the learnings from your side + send these participants for a refresher/next higher level course, the effect of behavioral skills training will not last long.
This video amply clarifies this issue.
