The Game Awards are right around the corner, and as the show grows exponentially, year over year, I wanted to discuss why the entire thing is an example of media gatekeeping and slanted favoritism.

From Forza 5, to the Last of Us 2... The Game Awards have managed to become a marketing event rather than a proper acknowledgement of artwork. Media conglomerates with 90% of the voting power, and a Jury panel with very clear bias.
