In this episode we're exploring a massive abandoned mental asylum in Georgia. The facility first opened its doors in 1842, and peaked in size in the 1960s with over 200 buildings housing almost 12,000 patients. Today however, nearly all the buildings are shuttered and abandoned, and only a couple hundred patients remain.
